Halim Akbaş

Halim Akbaş was born in 1959 in Bursa, graduated from Galatasaray High School and Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Physics, and completed a specialty course at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Business Administration. His professional career began as a marketing specialist in Başak Sigorta in 1989. He completed an internship course at Leslie & Godwin Insurance Broker and Consultant in 1991 in London, and the Excellence in Insurance Management program of Cigna Reinsurance Company in Philadelphia. He was appointed Marketing Manager of Commercial Union Sigorta in 1994, and transferred to Isviçre Sigorta for the same position in 1995. He worked as marketing manager, broking manager, area coordination manager, accident department manager, information processing coordinator and technical manager at Isviçre Sigorta. He quit said job in March 2005, moved to Bursa and began to provide specialized consulting services.
